Pretty little cakes!

Chloe and I got these cute little petite fours this weekend. I think they are so pretty! What could be more adorable then teeny tiny cakes! We were with my mom down in Wayne, just outside of Philadelphia. We had a fun day, and yes we did stop in Anthropologie!

Ella's Birthday party

This weekend we went to Ella's 1st Birthday party. She is too little to open her own presents so Belle offered to do it for her. She did a great job! She very carefully removed the tissue from the bags and handed the gifts to Ella's mommy! She did not move from her post in front of Ella until every gift had been opened and every card was read! Belle is the kind of kid who believes in the "all speed, no control" method of doing things so we were so proud to see her be so patient! Good job Belle!

Belle's Backpack!

Mamer(this is what my girls call my mom) bought Belle a new backpack for preschool. It is Hello Kitty. Need I say more? Belle never lets me take her picture anymore, she literally runs away when she sees the camera. But she was so proud of this backpack she posed on the back steps and smiled. And I mean smiled!! You can see it on her face, she feels like a big girl! Needless to say the backpack comes home emty form school(except the crayons she put in it from home) but she doesn't mind! What a cutie pie!

Valentine's day project

I found this lovely little Valentine project in Victoria magazine. I love the cameos and all of the pretty papers and ribbon. I think they really look like vintage cards. If mine turn out O.K. I will post them soon!

Dreamming of summer!

So right about this time every year, I start to long for the warm sun on my skin! The girls playing outside,the popsicles flying,the late nights sitting in the grass... I think everybody feels this way in January. We are an "outdoorsy" kind of family, but when the days are so blah it's hard to be motivated to go outside! There is a small chance of snow for tomorrow, but it could turn out to be rain, yuck!
Come on spring!!!

Preschool for Belle! and a really good mag!

Victoria magazine has been really great lately! When it first came back out, it wasn't so hot,but this past issue I loved. It was full of dreamy(I use this word a lot when I like something)soft pinks, blues and creamy whites...so pretty.

I actually had time to sit down and look at it in total silence this past week, Isabelle started Preschool, and she loves it! It is only two days a week, 2 hours a day, but it is just enough time for me and for her. So we are both happy with this perfect arrangement!
Now, I did have grand plans to clean the house from top to bottom, but...did I mention the new Victoria magazine I just got?

New Year, New Me!

This is going to be a great year for me, I can feel it! I have decided to change my fast food eaten', diet coke drinken', chocolate loven' ways. It won't be easy but I think I am up for the challenge! I had fallen into a rut, diet coke when I woke up, diet coke in the middle of the day, diet coke before I went to bed, it has to stop. They started to know me at the McDonalds drive thru, I mean real conversation know me. But the diet coke has already been stopped(about 4 weeks!), now I have to work on the french fries and chocolate. Wish me well please, I will need it!
